#DrugWar: Suspects arrested in Cebu City with P2M worth of illegal drugs

THE Cebu City police arrested drug suspects carrying P2 million worth of illegal drugs in buy-bust operations at early morning Saturday.
Police identified one of the suspects as Jowelyn Gastador Campuesto, 26, a resident of Sitio Patag, Barangay Buot Taop, Cebu City. Cebu City Police Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit found from the said suspect 30 grams of white substance believed to be shabu with a street value of P354,000. Chief Insp. Chuck Barandog, chief of CCPO DEU, said Campuesto could sell as much as 50 grams in a week which she sold in the upland barangay. Her name reportedly came out from those arrested during the past operations. In a separate operation on the same day, another high-value target was arrested, this time at Jakosalem Street near Sacred Heart Church. Joey Rafael Rallos, 35, single and a resident of the said place, was arrested by the authorities after he was reportedly seen in possession of 155 grams of what was believed as shabu. The substance had a street value or P1.8 million according to the police. Barandog said Rallos got his supply from Luzon which he sold to the different parts of Metro Cebu. He added that Rallos could dispose at least 500 grams of shabu in one week. - LGC
