Singer and actress Rachelle Anne Go is the latest in a renowned clique of Filipino performers to bring glory to the country. The thespian bagged the Best Actress in a New Production of a Musical prize for the play ‘Hamilton’ performed at the Victoria Palace Theater. ‘Hamilton’ gained popularity of late for its celebration of the life of America’s founding father Alexander Hamilton with Go essaying the role of Eliza Hamilton in the London run of the American theatrical hit. It will be remembered that Go was part of the cast that performed for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for a Sentebale charity performance in August this year. This is the first major acting honor hinged on an international platform bestowed on Go.
